A vibrant group, since 2014

The Hebrew Choir Berlin has existed since 2014 and currently unites about 30 singers of different ages and cultural backgrounds.

We offer:

• Vocal training

• Support with reading musical scores

• Support with Hebrew pronunciation

• and lots of fun!

We are a diverse group of people who sing a variety of pieces, both classical as well as contemporary, religious and secular in content. We are open to singers of all backgrounds and we do not maintain a religious character. We are a progressive and modern choir that boasts a diverse membership, Jewish as well as non-Jewish, German as well as non-German. Our rehearsals take place every Tuesday evening in Berlin-Mitte and are conducted in English.

Knowledge and reading of Hebrew is not a must and translations are offered. A good ear to follow the music and previous choir experience is required. Reading music notes is a major plus.
